The international association of lawyers for the creative industries

ialci | The international association of lawyers for the creative industries developing worldwide

The international association of lawyers for the creative industries, ialci, was founded in March 2013, during Paris fashion week, in order to provide useful and up-to-date business and legal knowhow and solutions to the creative industries.

This international association of lawyers for the creative industries was formed by a couple of lawyers who regularly advise clients working in the music, cinema, fashion, luxury, high tech and art sectors.

The main goal of ialci, the international association of lawyers for the creative industries, is to enhance the collective knowledge of the creative industries, by organising seminars, webinars and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCS), talks, google hangouts, podcasts, TV programmes about, and by publishing articles, newsletters, blogs and books on, business and legal topics of critical importance to the creative industries and entertainment sector.

Also, ialci is a network of entertainment lawyers and lawyers for the creative industries, who form a close knit community and cross-refer legal matters to each other, while picking each other’s brains on various cross-border legal matters.

The international association of lawyers for the creative industries will launch some large-scale events, entitled “the law of luxury goods series”, which are a group of ten international entertainment law seminars dedicated to the law of luxury goods and fashion, to be held in Paris and London. More about the luxury goods law series organised by the international association of lawyers for the creative industries on ialci’s “events” section.

If you work as a lawyer in-house in the industry, or in private practice, or are a law student, and if you are interested in becoming a member of the international association of lawyers for the creative industries, ialci, in order to join forces with other lawyers who are dedicated to serving the common goals of the creative industries and international entertainment community, you can register your interest on our “join ialci” form and we will be in touch with you soon.
